In 1990, the Paul Uebel company was re-privatised by Mathias Meyer based on the following starting conditions: two employees, six large-scale circular knitting machines and not a single order.

Through targeted machine purchases from both closures and new investments, the company is now able to offer a wide range of diverse textile qualities. Drawing on old traditions, the focus is now on a customised order-related production of yard ware. The company now employs approximately 20 people and operates on a three-shift system.
